On 31st January 2012, Clark Thomson completed the acquisition of the general insurance broker Geddes & Associates of Nairn.

John Clark, Chairman of Clark Thomson Insurance Brokers, confirmed the purchase stating that “Bill Geddes has built a successful business over many years and this addition strengthens the regional presence we already have through our Branches in Inverness, Elgin and Keith. I am delighted that Bill will be staying with us to continue developing the business and am certain that the respective strengths of both organisations will benefit all our clients in the future.”
